Best Family Top destinations Ideas: Hotel Resorts, Golf, Beach, and Fun
67Best Family Vacation Idea's: Hotel Resorts, Golf Beach and fun
LET'S ALL HAVE A FUN AND EXCITING VACATION THIS YEAR!
To Begin this hub, I would like you all to know that I have operated in the hotel industry all my life. The genre of hotels I would stay in might not be the same kind of hotel you stay at. Now, I am used to operating for famous hotels, like Disneyland Hotel, Marriott, Westin, Hilton, Beach resorts, Golf Resorts and many more. Since now that I can't afford to spend time in these fine hotels of my past, I almost prefer to not travel. There is a classification on hotels I just wouldn't be content to stay in with my family. And, Also most important is PET friendly, the better hotels are accommodating our pets....Yes this is true and exciting new development along with the better hotels are also going "Green". This is great news for all of us.
Another important conversation is our children: Let's talk about kids; we know that the Disneyland Hotels are always the best for family holidays. Their special breakfast was always a huge success. Mickey Mouse waffles and Mickey and Minnie would walk around and visit the children and to see the stars in your kids eyes, so worth staying at Disney. Again, many hotels have now followed the Disney Star of Gold performance. But, there are deeper reasons why these hotels achieve the highest level of perfections. All their staff are trained like no other employee. What lower end hotels want is to make, money, and they usually don't put money back into the hotel that is falling apart. They plan on selling and get a fast turn-around. These hotels are usually run by management teams.
Furthermore, there is not much I can tell you about large chains that cost like $29.00 a night. Those are truck stops or people that are just too tired to drive any further. So let’s take a look the good hotel. Hotel's that have congeries service, spa' s, pools, children's activity, great room service, bars, and housekeeping. In the finer hotel you can ask for anything, and you don't have to pay as much as you think. You can make arrangements with the hotel concierges, and stay with the same person thought-out your stay. They will get you a T-time at the best golf resorts for half price, send you to the best restaurants in town, can arrange for any special request.
Let’s take a look at this next the reason all this is important, "this is our private space", which has become more and more important to us. If you are going to spend time and money you want to know what you will get, not what you think you might get. If they offer a great breakfast, you might only end up with rolls and coffee in the lobby. Ask? What is included in this free breakfast? Ask, if they have special offers to local restaurant? However most of these hotels have the best of the best in the restaurant hotel businesses.
Always ask questions, you can surf online for some great deals, some resorts offer all day trips to someplace special. As you learn to ask you will find out if which hotel will fit you and your family, I love my privacy and enjoy a patio with a lounge chair to kick back with a good book.
Finally, I have a strange thing about staying in hotels, um maybe I know to much. But I love to golf and you can really have fun together as a family and also have activities the entire family will enjoy together. I would rather spend more money on a nice hotel then running down to the lobby asking for the General Manager complaining all the time. You get what you pay for. Have fun, good luck.

Yes, give me a top notch hotel Darlene Sabella - that is a highlight of my trip - otherwise - I'd rather stay home. And often I travel alone - and I want luxury and room service and a front desk that arranges all tours, changes money, everything. And sometimes it is just a matter of doing research and you can get a deal only a little more costly than a dive that offers nothing - and you wind up paying for the extras - or sleeping in fear. Ugh!
Give me 'awesome!' Thank you!
Enjoyed the hub and reminder of know what you are getting when you your 'private space' hotel room
Great hub. If I can't stay at a fine hotel, I'm not going.
Excellent tips on traveling and what to look for in a hotel. I once got a room in a place that had a connecting door and I didn't know the person in the next room and the lock was broken. They weren't gong to do anything about it until I stood in the lobby and loudly demanded an upgrade and began talking about their security measures and safety in a very loud voice in front of other incoming guests. It was a diving trip in Cancun Mexico, and I was travelling solo-met two other dive partners there, so I will never go back, but I will use your tips on the next trip- wish I'd had them back then! You're a golfer - me too!
Looks like a fun place to stay.
Darlene, Great intro pic, you had me there... I love GOLF and my 11 year old daughter does as well. This Hub, Awesome Hotel, Hotel Resorts, Golf Resorts, Family Vacation is a wonderful summer idea. Can you really stay in a hotel for what did you say, $29.99? Thats crazy I never knew... Anyway I love this hub and your love of golf as well. Thanks and Peace :)
Darlene - The last comment in your hub above is extremely apt. You wrote, "Good luck." And like you, I know from experience that if the price for your hotel room seems unreasonably inexpensive, than good luck is definitely what you will need.
That is one thing I insist upon - if we are traveling somewhere, it needs to be a "real" hotel. I have friends and family that perpetually stay at the cheapest thing they can find (clean but cheap). I don't see the point. I travel so infrequently and I so enjoy myself when I finally get away (rarely) that I always try and find the best place for the best deal and call it my 'little luxury'. Great hub, Darlene and I want to go on vacation now!!!
This was a great hub with some great advice. It is very important to ask questions so that you know what to expect.
Fabulous hub with nice travelling tips and hotel choice .Great hub.
It is really important to choose the best hotel that fits your family's needs and budget. You have shared good questions to ask before anyone should make the final decision. This will definitely guide your readers so that they will not ruin their vacation. Have a great week!
Another Great article. Bet it was really exciting working at the Disney Hotel! The opportunites you must have had. Loved the story and it was very interesting. Although taking traveling vacations right now with the prices of gas climbing so rabidly, could be a challenge for many people. Hopefully some of these places will have disscounts to entice their customers. I voted this story up all the way. wonderful job.

Sounds like a lot of fun. You know its funny to me that I sold golf equipment for years to some very nice country clubs but yet still have never taken golf. One of these days!
