Love, The Secret is Multifaceted
A large percentage of us look and wish for a love that is real
My Son looks for love in beauty
My Daughter looks for love in a best friend
Yet most humans wait for the highest love
Your greatest fear
Then you find it and say “I love you”
And then, you hear those words back
Whispered in your ear, by your beloved
Instantly, you agonize over the love you just found, will they leave you
You think “I will lose”
From this flash, all your action creates a reaction
A resistance against loss
Your life is filled with defending
You guard yourself against loss
Then you start to believe love is unobtainable

....well I am so in love with this Darlene - because it came from you - and there is no secret - that your writing makes love a special place to be - please please please indulge us with some more of your poetic magic - this piece in particular captures the true essence of love in all of its splendor - but only a great writer could do something like this - and that writer is you!!!!
