The Ten Commandments Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord, thy God in vain - Part Two

PART TWO
Ten Commandments – Part Two
Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord, thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
If you notice there are two parts to this Commandment – Everything in your life depends on how you think about God, who is he to you, what is your true depth of belief about God? What is the nature of God? If you are not sure and feel hazy about the truth of God, then your entire life will be hazy. Albert Einstein once said, “Am I thinking hazy or is the rest of the world just crazy?”
The question for you must be a clear, about the perception of the nature of God, and if it is clear, so will your life remain clear, if you are not clear, or hazy then it is in VAIN. This Commandment is not what you, call God, by saying his name; the real name of God is your IDEA of God. Not what you have been taught in Sunday school or by your parents or your preacher, it’s what you believe God to be. Now this will govern your whole life.
You can ask people if they believe in God, their answer will not matter, but if you ask them what kind of God do you believe in, this will matter a great deal, you will learn a better understanding of how this person thinks. Moses always said, you cannot escape from the result of your idea of God, and whatever your idea of God is, well affect your life in every way. If you believe that God is all love, all good, all knowing, then slowly your life will change as sure as you can see that it is snowing outside today.
We all need to watch ourselves; we all in some way limit what God can do. So check your thoughts and your intend on how you view God. Many people, including myself, always believed that this commandment meant we could not say his name in vein. Remember this; it is the thought that counts, people did not understand it was what you thought about God and how you limited him in your own thoughts.
So Moses says, “You cannot take the name of the Lord thy God in vain. You cannot do it. Whatever your idea of God is, whatever idea you’re really believe in, that is what will be expressed in your life. The most important aspect to remember, “All thoughts are things.” Change the way you think and you will change everything. You can’t run away from life, I have tried, that is not what must be done. You need to remember the way you view our Lord, and that is how your exact way life will turn out for you. If you view a weak God, you will be weak, if you believe God is cruel, you will become a cruel person, and so forth. So now you have the true facts about his Commandment; you cannot take the name of thy Lord God in Vain.

Very nice Darski!
A very thought provoking article. I will probably be thinking about this one for awhile. It is a different perspective that what I learned in Sunday School for sure.
Again, how simple and yet such good fundamental rules or guides to live by. It seems as if these are honestly apart of our sense of right and wrong. I'm so pleased to have this resource available as a needed reminder. I will share this along with part one as many do forget and live a less than civil life. Peace and Love dear chicklet. :)
